We were "come from aways" recently when they were invited to present DELVIN to the St. John's Dental Practice Managers' Study Group on Thursday of this week. Our Newfoundland hosts lived up to their reputation by giving us a warm welcome. We had a great meeting and gained more valuable insight into how practices differ and how they are similar.
The Staff Hours report can now be exported as a PDF and a CSV (which can be opened by Excel or other spreadsheet application). In the Dashboard, you'll find a new column that shows the difference between Target and Actual Production. When Actual is greater than Targer the values are displayed in green, otherwise they are displayed in red. This gives you a great way to see at-a-glance how the practice is doing.
We are really excited to announce the release of Version 2. It has a whole bunch of new features and some bug fixes and is generally more stable. Existing clients will be recieving an Update document that details the changes. If you haven't already received it by email, let us know and we'll make sure you get it right away, OR you can down the PDF here.
In this version we have made a change that displays the Time Clock note in the Staff Hours screen (administrator view) to make it easier for the payroll manger to see notes that pertain to shift start and end times for each employee. We've also add the ability for a manager to add a note to each day in the Staff Schedule.
In the production screen, product sales can now also be logged so practices can track revenue from this stream as well as production.
This update improves how Stat Holidays are handled to accommodate holidays that fall on a day when the office would normally be closed. We've also made it possible for staff to clock in and out twice a day for those who work a split shift. When requesting Time Away staff can now specify the number of hours they are asking for, if they only need a partial day.
